The Rohs directive restricts the use of six harmful substances as from July
1, 2006. The substances and the maximum concentration values are as follows:
Lead 0.1%
Hexavalent chromium 0.1%
Mercury 0.1%
Polybrominated biphenyls(PBB) 0.1%
Cadmium 0.1%
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDE) 0.1%
The following tests were implemented on our products in order to prove the
suitability:
• 2002/95/EC, 2005/618/EC, 2005/717/EC & 2005/747/EC- Heavy metals( Lead,
Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium and Mercury
• 2002/95/EC, 2005/618/EC, 2005/717/EC & 2005/747/EC – Brominated Flame
Retardants ( PBB & PBDEs )
All our magnetic ballasts deliveries are in compliance with ROHS directives as
of May 17, 2006.
